I am a native of Biloxi, MS. I survived Hurricane Katrina, but instead of being a victim I decided to highlight the good things the MS Gulf Coast had to offer; like me, my designs, and the many other talented people on the MS Gulf Coast. A Journalist and a creative writer by trade I started out doing customized clothing, and then noticed I had a story to tell, and decided to use casual tees, tanks, and more to tell it. In late 2006 C. J. Shaw The Brand was born! I am determined to design clothes with Sophistication and Education in mind. 

My style can be described as Educated Glam and Casual Chic. My clothing can be worn with jeans, skirts, you name it. My clothing reflects the up and coming sophisticate that has a young and flirty side. I have an Educated Glam section that highlights HBCU Grad's and a Home Town Favorite section that highlights the South with catchy phrases. C. J. Shaw- The Brand also offers track suits, hoodies, and sweatshirts for the Fall and Winter seasons. C. J. Shaw- The Brand also offers apparel for the little ones.
